
Kristi Fry
Bio:
Kristi is one of the project managers at the Delaware MTSS Technical Assistance Center, where she served as an instructional coach for 4 years. In collaboration with the Delaware Department of Education, she provides professional development and technical assistance to educators throughout the state of Delaware in MTSS implementation. Kristi has led the implementation of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) in seven schools, developing and facilitating learning cohorts around UDL and early literacy, training teachers on the Dynamic Learning Maps, as well as workshops that focus on the introduction and advanced knowledge of UDL. She is currently monitoring and assessing a set of UDL micro-credentials for Delaware.
Before joining the DE-MTSS TA Center, Kristi worked as a general and special educator for 25 years where she taught students taking the general and alternate assessments in an inclusive environment.
Kristi lives in Middletown, Delaware, with her husband, two children, and two dogs. She enjoys boating, going to the beach, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
