
Ashley Clark
Bio:
Ashley Clark is a health promotion implementation coach within the Health and Wellness Unit at the University of Delaware Center for Disabilities Studies (CDS) and Delaware Network for Excellence in Autism (DNEA). In this role, Ashley works to develop and disseminate health-related information, training, and resources to individuals with disabilities, families, caregivers, and the professionals who serve them.
Ashley also serves as the Learn the Signs. Act Early. Ambassador to Delaware, where she helps to share accessible developmental monitoring resources to families of young children in the state. Before joining the CDS team, Ashley worked as a program supervisor at Easterseals, where she designed program curriculum for their adult day services. Ashley completed her undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of Delaware, most recently receiving her M.S. in Health Promotion in the spring of 2022. Throughout her academic career at UD, Ashley collaborated on research projects and publications with UD’s Health and Disability lab, which aimed to promote physical activity for adults with intellectual disabilities and foster accessibility and inclusivity of local fitness facilities.
Ashley lives in Wilmington with her husband and two cats. In her free time, she enjoys painting, taking Pilates classes, hosting game nights with friends.
