Ashley Steinbrecher
Bio:
In her role in the Health and Wellness unit at CDS, Ashley helps lead COVID-19 project initiatives that focus on developing materials that promote accessible health care and vaccine access for healthcare providers and individuals with disabilities.
Before arriving at CDS, Ashley completed her undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of Delaware, most recently receiving her M.S. in Health Promotion in the spring of 2022. Throughout her academic career at UD, Ashley collaborated on research projects and publications with UD’s Health and Disability lab, which aimed to promote physical activity for adults with intellectual disabilities and foster accessibility and inclusivity of local fitness facilities.
Before receiving her master’s degree, Ashley also worked as a program supervisor at Easterseals Day Program, where she designed program curriculum and helped to support individuals to reach their personal goals.
Ashley lives in Wilmington with her boyfriend and two cats. In her free time, she enjoys painting, playing the ukulele and hosting game nights with friends.
