Child care, distant family add to challenges of remote learning for Delaware military families

Some families with parents stationed at Dover Air Force Base, many of whom do not have a support network of family or friends living close by, report feeling overwhelmed by the time and energy they must dedicate to supporting their children through remote learning on top of their jobs. Military families with children with disabilities are seeing particular difficulties, as the changing class schedules and reliance on distance learning technology can be disorienting to students receiving special education services.
