Rehoboth Elementary nationally recognized for bridging achievement gap

Rehoboth Elementary received national recognition for gains in bridging the achievement gap. Rehoboth Elementary School received national recognition because it saw improvements in standardized test scores by students with disabilities, students from low-income households and students from racial minority groups. The award, being named a National ESEA Distinguished School, was created by the 1965 Elementary and Secondary Education Act. Three other Cape Henlopen district schools also earned state recognition.
