Special Olympics Delaware holds its 48th annual Summer Games

Through sports training and competition, Special Olympics Delaware has been changing the lives of Delawareans since 1971.
Special Olympics Delaware hosts its 48th annual summer games at the University of Delaware’s athletic complex this week. More than 600 children and adults with disabilities from across the state will compete in six sports. Approximately 140 coaches and 1,000 volunteers also will take part.
