Staff are finding creative ways to move instruction online, though some offerings, such as CLSC internships, are proving hard to replicate.

    Philadelphia SpArc, an organization that helps prepare people with autism for employment, held its fifth annual reception to honor area businesses who are leaders in autism employment. Representatives from regional colleges with programs supporting students with autism also attended, including three staff members from CDS’s Spectrum Scholars.

    Spectrum Scholars continued its series of autism acceptance trainings with a presentation to the UD Career Services Center. The session covered specific techniques career counselors can use and emphasized that interview skills and internships are crucial for job-seekers with autism.
